Hardware Incompatibility — CQ Series + AB168硬體不相容 — CQ 系列 + AB168
The AB168 stage box uses Allen & Heath's proprietary dSNAKE protocol. The mixer must have a dedicated SLink / dSNAKE network audio port — only available on QU and SQ series.
AB168 接口箱使用的是 Allen & Heath 專利的 dSNAKE 協定，混音器必須有專屬的 SLink / dSNAKE 埠（QU、SQ 等中大型系列才有）才能讀取。
The CQ series RJ45 port is Wi-Fi router only — no digital audio chip inside. Plugging in AB168 will produce no sound at all.
CQ 系列 RJ45 孔只能接 Wi-Fi 路由器，沒有數位音訊傳輸晶片。硬插上 AB168 是完全沒有聲音的。
Without AB168 support, placing the mixer at the rear control desk requires a heavy analogue multicore cable across the room — at least 10 individual signal lines:
